Why Kids OT?

Kids OT

Occupational Therapy helps children participate, learn and grow through everyday activities/occupations at home, school, and in play. Occupational Therapists use their expertise to identify challenges that may be preventing children from reaching their potential. We start with an initial interview with you, so that we can get to know you and your child.  If necessary we can complete assessments to help understand your child's needs further.  We set goals with you that are important and meaningful to you and your child.  We then help you work towards achieving those goals through a combination of coaching, therapy, education, and by connecting with your community and other people involved with your child's health and wellbeing.

Kids OT recognises that all children have strengths making them valuable and unique. Children are treated with respect and encouraged to be the best they can be.
